California Novelty IDs?
« on: October 27, 2014, 12:52:09 am »
SWIM has noticed that all other state IDs are fairly easier to duplicate than the California ones. SWIM isn't looking to make one himself since he has no equipment to make them, but he is interested in other peoples work. I'm sure by now somebody has overcame all those security measures they put in them like, perforations of the Cali Bear, and stamped DOB, holograms, etc. Locally nobody can match that kind of talent needed to duplicate, but I'm sure somebody has. Also would like to discuss what would be needed if someone would want to get into the novelty ID business, since locally the market would be booming!  Discuss...?

My friend who works at Disney produces replicas for movies; One of his perfections are dollar bills, and California IDs'. Since he produces high-end replicas for high-end full feature films, he charges quite a lot for replicas, somewhere in the region of $325 per card, $2500 minimum order.

Yea $2500 sounds way too far out of SWIMs budget. Especially since he just wants 1 ATM and maybe more if need be. Thanks for the info, but he will just wait for when he can buy just 1.

Yeah OP's budget seems like 4 bucks, a pack of crisps and if you negotiate well a blow job

Yup there always has to be a troll underneath each bridge. SMH. What I meant to say is that SWIM can buy one already but does not want to buy in bulk. So he will wait till they sell just one, not until he can afford one. And that sounds like a good deal, a novelty ID and a blowjob, I'm a happy customer :)

Is someone who isn't you looking to get into the novelty ID business in general, or just California's?

Just California. The market is there. SWIM just needs to get a good idea of what he is dealing with, considering all the safety features they have. Also if there is someone who would donate a legit looking Cali novelty ID and SWIM will donate some friendly funds of PayPal ;)

The DMV might be able to trade a legit CA ID for one of your out of state novelties if it's damn perfect. Of course, that's a stupidly risky thing to try.
Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.

Yea too risky. There is a lot of wetbacks in my area that if they were able to buy a legit looking NOVELTY ID, they would be all over it like flies on shit! But they would have to be priced fairly since these cheap fucks lowball everything.
