Sometimes I burn ants...

... and I like it.  Is that bad?  I only feel like burning them when they infest an area in my house and won't leave after I've asked nicely.  I don't always burn them.  I mainly use fire if I've already spent a long time cleaning them up and laying bait traps, and then I get fed up with it.

I've noticed the lighter being moved a couple times (because I'm somewhat OCD about certain things) and mentioned it to my wife.  I asked if she was lighting some candles or something, and she said "well..." and then trailed off.  Then I excitedly asked her if she was burning ants, and she said yes.  I said, "Me too!"  Then I said, "Well, at least we're both a little twisted in the same ways."

Many people would say it's not bad or even that it's normal behavior, but I'm not one of them.  Ants are living beings and it's never really okay to kill with intent.  Makes it worse that you're not even killing them for a good reason, like to eat or feed your family.  One of those ants could be your mother.
