Your Favorite/Essential Apps for IOS/Android?
« on: October 20, 2014, 04:38:42 am »
There really is no defined criteria here. I am more of less interested in what Apps you guys are using and if they could be in anyway beneficial to me. I personally pic apps that provide up to date useful information that could aid me in making money, and a couple of popular app games where you can sell/trade off your accounts.. as a means of cashing out. Hell, I've even seen things online where mobile devices with the original Flappy Bird actually increases it's resell value to that niche market.  I'll list a few, but really.. they probably aren't that good, hints.. my intentions to upgrade my mobile set-up..

1. Duolingo - Free App designed to aid in picking up a second language. I've actually found it quite helpful and used to use it daily, though I've slacked off recently. There are mroe apps out there with the same goal, but this is the only one I've tried.

2.Coinflation - I collect pre-1982 pennies (95% or so copper) and search for sactual silver change. This app tells you the current value of United States coins based on their metal melt value. Also has a built in calculator to make figuring up your investment all that much easier.

3. Pinger - I dont really use this App, but it does give you a free phone number and you can earn minutes by watching videos (clicking and sitting it down for a sec).. Excellent since I have an ipod, not an iphone.. I hate all cell phones in general. As long as you are near wifi, this makes your device a phone.. also excellent for those phone verifications.. It's all in how you use it, but it is definitely useful to a certain crowd.. you know who you are.

4. Google Earth - The perfect app for getting around practically anywhere.. Even those neughbors that keep everything hidden by a big gate and fence arent safe.. I've used this app to find the msot unusual places, some excellent stash spots, great for browsing possible grow spots, and.. idk.. I love to explore. Definitely an essential.

5. My Utiliities - (Wait.. its not what you think).. This is actually a false front for a private storage vault on your device. It says "My Utilities", and when you click on it, it looks legit.. click in the right place and wait a moment and your brought to your coded password screen.. you can put pics and videos in here you dont want others to see.. great for your sexy pics, or snapping some pics of PI and having a place to store them besides your basic photo folders. A lot of apps out there like this, but its the only one I've tried and it works well enough.. if it aint broke, dont fix it.

6. RMushroomsLite - A well defined collective of information and pictures pertaining to the mushrooms of the world, complete with an indexed library and search function to aid in finding out if a mushroom your looking at is edible and/or psychedelic.. As an avid fungi hunter and collector, this one is a must have.. it's a little incomplete, but it has all the good ones in there that are worth finding.

Well, that's all 'll contribute for now.. I also have an app called GoldLive+ which gives me up tothe minute prices on Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium, and rhodium, along with an assortment of base metals. If you invest in bullion, then this one is for you.

As far as profitable games.. not so much profitable but people will pay for a good account..

7. Monster Warlord - A simple, childish click and play game thats really easy, has a decent user base (betwen 60k-80k players per server) and people are constantly buying/selling and trading these accounts.. I might play on mine about 20 mins a day, and I've had offers of up to $150 for my transfer code (effectively sell my account).. the key to making an account worth selling, never combine, save everything, never spend gems.. you'll just effectively constantly increase the value.

 What you guys got?

Perk TV. Basically you watch movie trailers and at tge end they give you 2 points. You can exchange 5,000 points for a $5 Amazon gift card. After jailbreaking my iphone I found a Cydia app called Fast Forward, which lets me watch Perk TV at x50. Another app, Insomnia, lets me run wifi-using programs with my screen locked, and I pair this with background manager so I can keep apps running while I do other things. All of this lets me run it overnight, generating maybe $30-$40 a month in gift cards. It kills battery power, however, and the developers always try to implement preventions within each update.

There are, but you really have to find the gems amongst the garbage. There are some that are the usual survey nonsense (but I've actually heard people getting paid, albeit, probably not very much).. and then I heard about one where you get paid to upload a picture of your receipt if you buy certain products.. essentially, you check their list that day before you go to the store, and if you buy that item.. you'll get paid.. there is a certain amount that has to be obtained to cashout on all of those types of apps though. I dont have much experience with them.. I'v found it easier to download popular korean games (koreans love their app games), play for a while.. and then resale.. havent made much, but $25 for a few minutes a day for a month.. is still $25.. I have some other games I play that are more long term oriented as far as my possibly big payout.

I knew there were people out there doing it right.. I'm trying to work on my own innovations, but it does take a bit of problem solving ingenuity and a little research,

Yeah but the card would not be present and I don't fancy going through all the BS of proving I am a company

Podcast Addict for podcasts.  WhatsApp for chatting with friends.  JotterPad X for writing things down.  Audio Recorder for recording lectures.  Any.Do for to do list.  Zazen Meditation Timer for timing meditation.  NPR news app because you can just find your local station there and it shows up like music with the pause button on the unlock screen... can play in browser too but then you have to unlock and get in the browser to stop it.

ohhhh
