It should probably be a sub-section to the DIY board.. I eventually one day want a sophisticated radio setup to receive all sorts of signals as a means to pass the time.. I always thought it was cool reading up on DIY articles about people running their own pirate radio stations, underground talk shows, and the like..  They still exist, but its a sub-culture that is fading.

Edit: Unless someone sets up Radio Sanctuary, a pirate station dedicated to the cause.. but, who has time for that? I'd tune in though.. even though getting a signal that strong out without being pinpointed and prosecuted.. not even unlikely, probably impossible.

I've never actually really looked at the various forums, except to post in HB. 

I mostly just look at the recent threads and the new replies to my posts.

Is RFA a place where I might post about starting a pirate radio station?  I have always wanted to do that!
