If I could just get the server files from him, I would forgive him for everything. But until then, his name's mud around here to say the least.

Arnox, just curious, what would you do with the server files if you had them? Or what if you had a vBulletin license to use? I'm not sure how compatible all that is with SMF, but just wondering.

I like the dark look of this site but the Totse name still has value.

ghosty and I were actually planning on setting it up on a VPS considering it was fairly low-traffic, but nope.

I never had any luck with accessing the server files after we switched hosts for some reason. Probably user error. If easy-e could confirm that he has no intention of restoring totse 2, I could offer up a vBull license, if you're interested. I at least owe it to him to see if he still wants to use it though.

there is all kinds of stuff I posted on the &T2 forums I'd like to get back...also, I prefer VB over SMF...its just what I'm used to.

Well I registered with the email address easy-e@totse2.com so a mod can verify that.

We got DoSed and I had no way of letting people know what happened. Our host's ISP null routed our IP address and shut down our account. I tried to get another server up for a few weeks but ran into a bunch of issues. I didn't give up but I was already fed up with the direction of the site and the time /money wasted trying to keep the site up.

I know it's late and this isn't the apology people have been looking for. At this point I'm not sure we even want to bring totse2 back. Arnox seems to be doing a good job here. I can point the domains here so refugees can find it. I can also look into hosting a backup of the site somewhere.

Did anyone asked Easy-e about it when he joined here? It looks like he is willing to do something.
