^^^ Oh no, I mean I get ya. I live in a state with the bare minimum.. err.. minimum wage. Not to mention the lack of real corporate investing or very many factories to at least employ the masses. It's no wonder I live in a state with some of the higher government food assistance percentages. Personally, I haven't had a job were I've actually worked for a bussiness in.. a very long time, and I don't rely on the government. There are good paying jobs out there though. I know of 10 people whom I'm somewhat related to who have recently taken up working a state over for $20+ an hour, $460 a week per diem, great benefits, and all with no experience required. They build power plants and upgrade them.. They work all over, but the job site they all work at is on the east coast near Chesapeake, Virginia. But again, they do jobs in Florida, Texas, and even overseas (in which you get paid a shit ton more, and they cover all cost of flying and board).
The week long training in Georgia will net you over $1000 even if you never make it to the job site to begin work. And (they've told me a lot about this place.. if you cant tell), I suppose even if you fail a drug test, they wont fire you.. it's about impossible to get them to fire you. They hire a lot of mexicans though so, you'd have to be comfortable with that. I know some people here are racist or uncomfortable with other ethnicity. Back to my point, there was this other guy I was told about who didnt go to work for a month, and then just showed up and they went on about it as if nothing went down. Idk.. One of my former best friends (just not as close anymore) is getting paid $20 as a spotter who simply watched to make sure there's nothing dangerous for the equipment guys to run over.. And when it rains, you automatically get paid for the day up till noon, which they start at 6 so.. not bad.
