While alt accounts aren't expressly prohibited, if I find someone who has such, I may just slip up and "accidentally" make some small little changes to their accounts. (yes, plural) To make sure these mistakes don't happen, all alt accounts should be approved by me or another admin.

So do I need to remind you how a week or so ago Millions of Dead Cats started using his Starving Niglet nick, and the ensuing shitstorm that ensued because he was banned because of it? Do we really need to direct you to those threads, and Arnox's adamant attitude about all of that?

Uhm.  cats was never going to be banned for the multiple accounts thing.  The only time people are outright banned for having multiple accounts is when they're breaking the rules.  Usually it's ban evading.  We might freeze the account and mess with the avatar or whatever, but that's all.  And I know you have no idea what you're talking about, but my decision in the cats case was to do nothing to his new account.

This isn't about the distant past. This is about how you made an alt without permission. And the rules are VERY clear. Are they not? Yeah, I wasn't necessarily going to be banned, but they were discussing a 'punishment'.  That is why I fought so hard about it, because I felt I didn't deserve a punishment, as I still assert that the rules do not 'forbid' alts, they merely 'discourage' them.
