New Posts Warning

Can we get rid of that 'omg two new posts to this thread have been added do you want to read them before you make this post?' warning or whatever the fuck that thing is? It's pointless and irritating because I post - think my post was added and walk away just to come back and see that fucking message there. It's not like you wont realize there are new replies either  immediately once you get redirected to view your post in the thread or upon checking for replies to your post later.


Please remove.

I disagree that its pointless, as it does serve its purpose. Oftentimes other people have thrown new information to the threads, or have had one of your previous questions answered. Then instead of double posting you can respond to the new posts...especially if you are putting up a lengthier post yourself, and it might have taken you a little bit of time investment into whatever point you are trying to make.

Some people ARE here to actually put up thoughtful ideas, and not just turn this into Twitter or a chat-room lite experience. And we are LITERALLY talking about one more button click.....are you that fuckin lazy or lack such an attention span that one more mouse click in your day that takes less than 3 seconds to digest and respond to is actually an issue for you? Seriously?

You can disable that in your settings, under Look and Layout. Check the box that says "Don't warn on new replies made while posting."

Also, I don't know if you noticed this but you can view a list of the most recent posts in the thread if you scroll down when in the Reply screen. It's kinda hard to miss but yeah, it's not just warning you that new replies have been posted, you can also read them at the bottom.
