Ehh, IDK. I don't have anything against arcade fire but it never really clicked with me. I admit that I liked reflektor a little more than funeral but I listened to them out of release order. I feel like one day some track off funeral is going show up in a shuffle and I'm going to figure out why people go crazy for it, but that hasn't happened yet.

 That's actually what a lot of people say, nobody seems to genuinely like them but they just feel obligated to like them for hipster reasons but I did really like "funeral" both as a cohesive album and in sequential order. It might just be that when "rebellion (lies)" came on it was the best song on much music so I'd look forward to hearing it, also, every member of the band reminds me of people I'd talk to casually for like 1 minute about some really specific subject and think "they seem alright" then we'd go our separate ways if that makes any sense which is objectively doesn't.

 "rebellion (lies)" used to give me chills at the end when the viola (I think) comes in and the song peters out. I'm afraid to listen to it right now because I know that by consciously thinking of this is will prevent the chills and I'll think I lost part of my soul
