Sperm bank gives out wrong sample- Hilarious

An Ohio woman is suing a sperm bank for giving her a black man’s sperm instead of the sperm she and her partner chose.

Jennifer Cramblett of Uniontown, Ohio says that Midwest Sperm Bank delivered the wrong vile of sperm to her doctor, and unbeknownst to them, she was inseminated with it. Cramblett and her partner say they chose a specific donor so that their child could look as close to the both of them as possible, but once she was pregnant, they were shocked to discover that their baby girl would be half black.

“To the person who sent Jennifer vials of sperm in September 2011, the number '380' looked like '330,' and there are no redundancies to catch errors like the one the defendant made with respect to Jennifer Cramblett,” reads the lawsuit.

The sperm bank allegedly uses a paper filing system rather than electronic records, which could be partially to blame for the mix-up.

Cramblett and her partner Amanda Zinkon say that in regards to their daughter, they “love her very much,” but the complaint goes on to say that, “Even so, Jennifer lives each day with fears, anxieties and uncertainty about her future and Payton's future. Jennifer admits that she was raised around stereotypical attitudes about people other than those in her all-white environment. Because of this background and upbringing, Jennifer acknowledges her limited cultural competency relative to African-Americans, and steep learning curve.”

The suit goes on to say that Cramblett’s all-white family still has yet to accept her homosexuality, and she fears that they will never accept her mixed daughter.

“Jennifer’s stress and anxiety intensify when she envisions Payton entering an all-white school,” the suit also claims.

Reports say that a month after Cramblett learned of the mistake, the sperm bank sent her a letter of apology with a refund check for the six vials of sperm that were sent to her.

I feel bad for that little girl. Not only does she have two ugly ass dykes for parents but she has to deal with growing up as a half breed. I wonder how this family is gonna work out. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up getting a big payout, this is a major fuck up on the behalf of the sperm bank but it makes for a hilarious story hahaha

Thats pretty irresponsible to have no redundant checks against the number on the vile and the donor number chosen. I have no doubt they are going to get a hefty sum of money in the suit.

I understand them being upset about the mix-up and I find it crazy there was a mix-up to begin with - but what is wrong with these dykes?  They should understand prejudice.  They probably just want the money from the lawsuit - hell, I bet they set this all up.  Fucking lawsuits.  Fucking dykes.

They very well could be making up the racist bits to make their case look better (seems dumb to me but w/e), but since we can't know for sure it's best not to make assumptions imo.  But "fucking lawsuits"?  This woman was impregnated with the wrong semen!  That's a HUGE error on the part of this company, and in this case I'm glad we have our legal system to make the responsible party own up to their mistake.
