Actually it has a date until sometime in 2015. It's one of the cans with a plastic bottom and full of more preservatives and shit

But it has been opened.  I used to use chewing tobacco and, once I opened it, if I didn't finish a can within two days, or sometimes less, it would dry out and be no good anymore.
