It wouldn't either up here in MN. Here they have to take you to court in order to evict you and landlords must go thru a process. I'm sure every state has a Tenant Rights Handbook or you can just look online for the state laws.

im getting conflicting info.  my best guess is someone changed the laws at some point

years and years ago i knew someone that rented properties out and they werent allowed to evict anyone until 30 days after serving notice.  at that point a sheriff would bring some paper to the tenant and they had to leave immediately.  with or without their crap

i googled the FL laws and everything i found was 7 days, even though the main jist of the 7 day thing was a severe behavioral issue which justified it

i also checked with someone who is the manager of an apt complex and they said its 30 days after a court order is obtained

so...if you really want to know, ask a lawyer

Trying to stay is a lost cause.  I just got evicted by some cunts who were pissed, because I was living out of my office.  They didn't have any proof, but I've been evicted all the same.  Your best bet is to pick your balls up into your hands, stand up straight, walk out and find somewhere new to stay.  We're all treated like cockroaches if it falls outside of their policy.  Fuck em.
