And yet we're handling them with 72 hour bans and other assorted slaps on the wrist. Banning members like fang, who never posted any personal information ever, while at the same time "members" like DarkHunter (a proven PI abuser on many counts across a length time period) is still able to freely post here right now? Makes no sense! What happens when this place is gone too thanks to them? Just gonna keep re-creating new communities just to make the same mistake again, and again, and again? I've most probably made an error about you in misunderstanding the nature of your comment toward off topic posting, Township Rebellion. You may well have been referring to the kidiots who follow other members around in threads and post their meaningless, useless, uninteresting garbage in a feeble attempt to ruin or derail the thread deliberately. If so, I apologize. Whenever you comment on the subject, you don't make your meaning clear, so I automatically take it to mean you want to "cattle-shute" discussion to make it more palatable. But your recent comment, upon reflection, seems to indicate you also want to rid the forum of these chronic and useless kidiot spammers.

There's no reason anyone needs to be posting any personal information whatsoever on a discussion-based forum, especially with all these mindless kidiots around who won't hesitate to abuse the information, be it your own or someone else's.

Way to state the obvious. You go, kid. The point is that rule is wrong and won't work and only serves to endanger the integrity of the memberbase. No PI should mean just that: no PI.. period. Not even your own. For example, I could post PI and say it's my own, but there's no way to confirm that. I could be posting another member's PI and just saying it's mine. In conclusion, no PI should mean just that: no PI... period.
