Quick Chump Change via Bad Ideas

What are some of your favorite methods to make some quick spending money without being all too sketchy?

I'm usually not concerned with cash, as once upon a time I just stole food and used change for gallons of drinking water.
My bud's phone bill is due soon and he needs to pay that with his unemployed ass, I'm just seeing if he can find alternative ways to keep in contact with the world.

I'm talking maybe like $30-$40 every couple of hours.


I'm asking for curiosity's sake, of course. I wouldn't seriously suggest he do these things.

Recycling scrap metal. Preferably copper cable, the bigger the better. The stuff found in power substations gets you the best returns. Lick it first to make sure the power isn't on.

I was also gonna say scrapping. I recently learned how easy it is to cut bicycle cable locks, that could lead to something. Investment is always a good capitalist way of making money.
Other than that, panhandling is pretty lucrative

Don't know why I expected much


He said he isn't unfond of filling his backpack with copper fittings when the occasion calls for it but he can't get a new job ATM because his social security card, ID, and birth certificate are all lost. He might be able to eventually find his birth paperwork

Also yeah sure I totally can get a job without my papers yeah sorry I forgot, the "provide legal documentation of your right to work" is just a joke.
