βk-2C-B (Beta-keto 2C-B, Bk-2C-B) is a psychedelic drug which is structurally related to 2C-B. It has been reported to have a similar effect to this drug in humans and has been used recreationally.[1][2]

Chemistry

Conventional theory suggested primary βk-primary amines would be too prone to dimerisation to be stable in solution or when stored for long periods, but βk-2C-B.HCl is stable when kept dry. Exposure to neutral or basic aqueous solutions causes reaction to a purple solid.

βk-2C-B turns bright orange when exposed to the marquis reagent.[3]
Dosage and effects

The dosage is 80–160 mg and the duration is approximately ten hours, notably much longer than 2C-B.[2]

I have 500mg sitting here...  The long duration and the crapshoot as to whether it will work or not has kind of put me off of it.  I'm interested in seeing some new experiences with it.  Total duration seems to be 12-16 hours not 10.

Don't drink any water at all beforehand, I'd pop an aspirin or 2 beforehand to acidify your stomach, wash down with OJ or something else equally acidic.  seems to like acidic conditions.
