I'm not very gun savvy but that thing doesn't look like it'd have much accuracy even at short range, I really have no idea though. I've been looking for a firearm around this price range for the purpose of break-ins, I know Walmart has .22 rifles for under $100.

Derringers are for up close and personal encounters with for instance, a mugger, they're about the length of your driver's license and while I've never fired one, I'm assuming it would hurt like hell and be easy to blow a hole through your hand.  I wouldn't expect to be able to fire this gun and hit anything more than 25 feet away.

Thats just from my limited knowledge, could be wrong, but I wouldn't want to shoot that damn thing.  They are popular though, and have been since the oooold west.

Okay, thanks. Y'all should check out the rest of the guns on that link I posted. They're selling lots of guns for cheap. I didn't even know Walmart sold guns. I'm just looking for another gun, a hand gun preferably an automatic but those are around $600 + but I'm still looking.

How would a .22 rifle help out during a break-in?  I'm just curious because I can see it A) getting snagged on shit and banging against the walls, and/or B) adding significantly more time to your sentence, I'm not being a dick, just wondering.

I'd use it during a break-in on my own property, I guess I made it sound like I was the burglar. Burglar with any kind of rifle would be comedically counter productive.

You can get a quality used SEMIauto pistol for $300 ton $400

Walmarts sell guns in certain areas plus they can special order ones that arent on display.  They're the cheapest ive found anywhere. Tidbit of trivia: walmart is the largest arms dealer in the us

Because derringers were more common and socially acceptable 100-150 years ago, especially for women...not just antique hookers
