color scheme
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:21:25 pm »
Could you PLEASE:

change the color scheme to make

1) thread titles more visible instead of the user who posted them. The green of user names overshadows the actual thread title which is similar color text around it that isn't part of the title. I don't know how many times i've accidental clicked on a users name instead of their thread. At least 3 times a day and its irradiating as fuck.

2) Make the red/maroon for the home/chat/help/search/profile/mymessages/members/logout/sub headings and most importantly THE REPLY BUTTON more visible!!

Please fix the newthread/hot topic section so it is more modular. Just being strings of uneven length text is ugly, add in the small text with the issue above and you have complete RAGE!! Possibly put it on the right side in its own section (tribute to zoklet?)

Also please fix the problem where you post inside or create thread and instead of taking you back OUTSIDE the thread once you hit the reply/save button. People usually like to read over their posts after they post them or leave them in the tab to see who replies with a quick refresh. Having to locate and click back into your thread or worse, back into someone elses thread, navigate to the bottom just to reread your post is infuriating.

The first two require a theme change. Please check the FAQ as to how to do that.

The third one is beyond my skill to do.

The forth one should have already been fixed. If it hasn't for you though, it is in the Look and Layout options where the option to change the theme is. If you don't know where that is, again, please check the Site FAQ.

I'd assume the 3rd problem would just be a matter of moving the existing content to a new div? Hell you could write a quick javascript hack by copying what you already have, putting it in its own div and then hiding the original div. No server scripting involved at all.

[edit]

Actually I kind of like how it is now. Forget this suggestion.
