What about cooking the chicken in the sauce?? Wouldn't that make a tastier and possibly more tender meat and also turn this into a one skillet meal? Also I bet this sauce would be the shit with pork too.

I find that I get good results and it's faster if I cook the meat then when it's near done add the sauce and simmer. The slower way is to use lower heat and simmer in the sauce for a long time. Works well in a crock pot. If I plan ahead I do that sometimes.

Yeah! That crock pot thing seems like a winner too. I love that thing, only one pot to clean and ya can just chuck the ingredients in there and when you get home from work, there is food waiting.
