all religions lead to the same god

tell me the difference in being a Christian and a Muslim. A Jew and a Catholic. Buddhist and Hindu. Of course these religions all have vast differences side by side but the way i see it, if there is a god, which there has to be imo, because i refuse to accept the fact that i am going to sit in the ground and rot for all eternity after all my good deeds and that serial child murderer is not going to burn in hell for all his sins. I REFUSE to believe that and you cannot convince me otherwise. But, if there is a god, when you die and get to meet him, you cant tell me if you were a good person he is going to turn you away from heaven because you worship him like this instead of like that, or you pray this way instead of this way. I don't even think he would turn you away because you didn't believe in him as long as you were a good person and your good outweighs your bad. What kind of sense would that make? That wouldn't be very god like.

The difference between Buddhism and all of those other religions is Buddhism isn't much of a religion at all in terms of creationism and the belief of God. Buddha himself did not believe in God.

Cant say Taoism has any resemblance to notions of god in the biblical sense. Or a god at all really. It more than likely spawned the buddhit tradition seems to say that buddha is the closest thing a human can be to god and the farthest one can be to human while being the farthest thing from a god and the closest to a human and things of that nature combined with flavors of the Hindu views of the cosmos. The Hindus gods are not similar to the Abrahamic gods at all.

But I digress, if all religions lead to the same god BEHOLD THE MIGHTY BON!

That's not a point, that's a faith claim. You could argue that salvation for moral non-believers is somehow implicit in godhood (although I don't think you'd get very far), but as it stands you're just making claims and we have no more reason to believe you than someone who claims we're going to hell if we eat bacon or lack faith or whatever.

Something that always crossed my mind was what if we are living in hell right now? Hell is described as a place of suffering and torture and if you think about it that's what most of life is about. It's a fact and something you just cannot deny. What if heaven was invented as a way to keep us in check? According to most religions you have to follow certain rules and live a certain way to make it to heaven. All I'm trying to say is that we are living in a game that is rigged.

Indeed, the idea that you could make claims about "God" or just about anything else based on what feels right in your spectrum of good and evil is pretty just an abandonment of serious thought.  However I would say that if your faith or religion doesn't feel right to you then you should probably do some investigation into your soul.

How is that an abandonment of serious thought? It makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than oh you have to pray to god like this to get into heaven.

Cant say i really understand what your getting at here. I'm not here to convert anybody or whatever. You dont have to believe me, nobody does, it doesnt matter becayse i believe it so that makes it real to me.
