Sig 938 SAS, it's easily the most accurate pocket rocket that I've ever found.
this thread should have an addendum of what ammo is carried.

How do you like the overpressure rounds?

overpressure?
9mm+P is an overpressure round. Quick explanation from WIkipedia
Quote
Overpressure ammunition, commonly designated as +P or +P+, is small arms ammunition that has been loaded to a higher internal pressure than is standard for ammunition of its caliber, but less than the pressures generated by a proof round.

They're not bad, the Glaser's group pretty good and there's not too much recoil.

thats the thing with the low weight/high velocity rounds...they dont have much recoil.  the benefit is you dont have to worry too much about overpenetration and a bullet winding up where you dont want it, especially through multiple walls in a house or even your neighbors house.  the flip side to that is because of the intended purpose being to minimize down-range unintended damage, the low-weight-for-caliber and excessive velocity of the round has a tendency to not penetrate an intended target enough.  for example, if the target is a fat guy or someone wearing winter clothing, the round would complete its expansion, increasing drag, inside the clothing or fat layer and not have the mass to continue deeper to penetrate into a vital organ.  the excess velocity isnt a benefit in the equation because it is that velocity that is responsible for the bullet expanding (mushrooming) more quickly.  if the velocity is high enough, and the bullet 'soft' enough, the bullet wont technically expand, but explode into smaller pieces

where this is beneficial is if the bullet hits something like the cranial cavity (assuming the bullet is strong enough to penetrate the skull) where minimum penetration is necessary to hit a vital organ and explodes inside the brain.  the fragments or excessively expanded bullet wouldnt have the energy to get through the other side of the skull but the grey matter would be soup. police snipers use a rifle round that does something similar, where it penetrates the skull then turns to powder...and turns the brain into soup.

as far as im concerned light-weight/high velocity rounds are of limited general purpose use and are more along the lines of a gimick.

The +P rounds seem to do good unless put into a pistol not designed to handle the ammo. It can wreck the gun, this is the case with older pistols.

from everything ive seen on them theyre still gimmicky.

not only is it more stressful to the assorted moving parts on the firearm,  muzzle flash is worse when the proper powders arent used.  the same projectile that was designed for a specific velocity range is now being accelerated to up to a couple hundred FPS faster.  this has the effect i mentioned earlier...faster expansion and lack of penetration.  it also increases recoil if the bullet weight isnt reduced.

for reloaders, the added pressure reduces the life expectancy of the brass

back in my early days i had the fetish of twisting every last FPS out of a reloaded cartridge.  now that i have a clue ive realized that every caliber has a specific bullet weight/velocity range that will produce a specific result in/on the target.  any higher velocity throws everything out of kilter and if more velocity or target effect is desired the best option is to get a different caliber.

Calling it overpressure is less than correct, even more so if you're talking about European firearms that are designed around NATO spec ammo.

either way pistol manufacturers proof test their production models based on a specific pressure range.  leaving a ++P+++ round in the sun, which potentially is loaded with a 'hot' powder in the first place, can add several hundred FPS to the velocity and spike the pressure by thousands of PSI potentially causing a catastrophic failure in a sub-par pistol

There is no special +P proof round it's the same proof that is used on any 9mm, they're both tested the same

If you want to do dumb shit and make your own +P+ (no pressure standard) ammo with "hot" (do you mean fast?), have at it. But whatever you want to do with ammo that was loaded without any pressure standard (+P+) does not change that +P is a standard load that is very similar to the international standard.

If a crap gun can't hold up to full power 9mm ammunition that is the fault of the gun, +P does not stretch the pressures outside of what the cartridge was designed for

I have a compact Glock, Gen. 3, 9mm with standard ammo. Don't know whether I want to use that though or go the entire way with a 5'' 1911.

I love me some 1911's...

Calling it overpressure is calling it what it is. It is over the standard pressure for that cartridge. A 9mm Luger+P is an Over pressur Luger round, it is not the exact same thing as a 9mm NATO round.

Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overpressure_ammunition#.2BP_ammunition_use
"Official +P pressures are established by the SAAMI for certain cartridges; in general the +P pressure is approximately 10% higher than the standard pressure (see chart below). SAAMI does not have a +P+ pressure standard, but this indicates a pressure higher than the +P loading.

Cartridge    Standard pressure    +P pressure    Notes
9 mm Luger    35,000    38,500    10% increase
.38 Special    17,000    18,500    9% increase
.45 ACP    21,000    23,000    9.5% increase
.38 Auto    26,500    36,500    38% increase to make .38 Super
.45 Colt    14,000    27,500    96.4% increase, For use in certain modern revolvers and lever rifles
.257 Roberts    54,000    58,000    7.5% increase"

Show me signs of overpressure on the case of a factory loaded 9mm+P round

Just because a load makes pressure that is above the commercial norm it is not over pressured. The chamber/case dictate what is over pressured or not
