I stumbled on the &T archives about a decade ago, searching for a tutorial on RAM-hacking Flash games. Even though I knew my parents would ground me if they caught me browsing a site with Drugs, Explosives, Bad Ideas and Sex & Affection categories, I loved reading everything from tutorials about shoplifting clothes to the harebrained plans to rob the U.S. Mint and recipes for tennis-ball smoke bombs. I posted occasionally in S&A about my first girlfriend and spent most of my time lurking in bad ideas and laughing at all of the plans for the stuff I'd never have balls to do myself. In a way, it allowed me to satisfy my curiosity while staying out of juvie. It felt like a mix between shitty life hacks and wanna-be gangstas.
When Jeff Hunter killed Totse, I created an account at Zoktlet, and although it felt different, it was still a place where I could stop by to read up on the latest methods for doing x or laugh at a funny story. At some point, my account got banned. I signed in so infrequently and posted even less. The only reason I could fathom is due to inactivity, though I never found out for sure.
I went to Zok yesterday to peruse Bad Ideas when I saw that it would be closing momentarily, so I made an account here when registration opened and here I am.
