So apparently,
Zoklet is currently at a loss when it comes to something basic like obtaining free music (Probably might have helped the OP though if he actually posted his request in the correct forum). But never fear, denizens of Sanctuary. You are not going to have this problem for I am going to tell you how.
Now, there's three ways of going about this. One of those methods was already mentioned in that thread, and that was through torrents. This is good if you want to download whole albums. Not so good at all for anything else. Also, some albums may very well either be unavailable due to there not being enough seeders or too obscure to be posted as a torrent. This is the only method they were able to give.
The second way now, is through use of Youtube. This is probably the simplest method of getting music although sometimes, Youtube may also not have a particular song and some songs are poor quality. In order to get music from Youtube, simply use
this site or any other site like it.
The third method is the most reliable way of getting your music. For it, we use Grooveshark. Now, Grooveshark is a website that you can go to to listen to any song they have in their database (which is QUITE extensive). They do not, however, allow you to actually download the songs themselves from the site. But we're going to get past that little hiccup by using a small Chrome extension. You can find it
here. How it works is, when you've installed it, you go to Grooveshark, pull up your desired song and play it. When you do this, a page-like icon will appear in the bottom left hand corner of your browser. Simply click that and download the song.
And those are the three methods. Torrents for bulk album downloading, Grooveshark for everything else, and Youtube for last ditch attempts to get a song.
