Very few moderators are actually needed. The trick is, the few you have need to have integrity and dedication, and above all else, a sense of fairness and justice and genuine logic.

Zoklet failed because it had way too many moderators

qft. A major flaw of zoklet was modding folks who were knowledgeable contributors simply based on the fact that they were knowledgeable contributors. Giving each mod a forum and each forum a mod may not have been the best model.

Remember, everyone from Zoklet starts off equally. So, I will not be considering such a list. If it makes you all feel any better, our staff is held to a very strict standard and I do not tolerate abuse at all.

I did that but all I got was Arnox insulting me. You missed a lot of his abuses of power before everyone flooded this place.

You see, what happened here is, I sent everyone to the assimilation chambers first thing when they got here but fanglekai and Spectre resisted.

Psychomanthis. Probably one of the most reviled and hated moderators on Zoklet. And, believe me - we've had moderators and admins that people really, really, really hated. However, the bottom line is that we do not fall trap to what many others have already stated : an over abundance of moderators.
