The difference between them and us is that we welcome their existence. I've always been okay with multiple communities, no matter what site I've participated in. It's naive to think that one does not have options, and there's no reason why one couldn't be part of them all.

I hope they find what they are looking for.

What 'they' are looking for is to destroy their competitors and 'corner the market', so all the 'refugees' have no choice but to be funneled to one of 'their' sites.

they are certainly the first with that mindset and fortunately for them they have no online community powerhouses to compete with, whatsoever.

Yeah I was up in the air as to whether or not I was going to join that site, but now that I see that they're trying to turn it into an "us vs them" instead of an "us AND them" well I have no desire to go over there.
