I'm currently watching Spice & Wolf. It is beautifully done, some action, but not a ton. Fun discussions between the main characters. Some of the most cleverly executed schemes I've seen outside of Death Note. I've had two people, neither anime fans, get hooked on it just by being in the room while it's on.
80% of the show is made of four things. Complex trade deals, banter, discussions of medieval economics, and flirty banter. In roughly that order.
If that's not up your alley, check out my review thread to see if there's anything you'd like better. I swear, I don't think anyone is reading those things.
Watched the first episode. It was actually pretty good.
