Actually, you are both correct. An unquoted reply can be in response to the OP or the previous post.  also reply directly to the OP without quotes because the general , or at least infer from it what the poster intends to convey and to whom he or she is replying.

there should not be set way for it its an individual thing like ive quoted you but i tool most the middle out but there your name and some text you'll knows your post cause you whote it as for AX he keep it all in, individual
