Bad Ideas / Re: California Novelty IDs?
« on: November 03, 2014, 02:50:38 pm »
SWIM has noticed that all other state IDs are fairly easier to duplicate than the California ones. SWIM isn't looking to make one himself since he has no equipment to make them, but he is interested in other peoples work. I'm sure by now somebody has overcame all those security measures they put in them like, perforations of the Cali Bear, and stamped DOB, holograms, etc. Locally nobody can match that kind of talent needed to duplicate, but I'm sure somebody has. Also would like to discuss what would be needed if someone would want to get into the novelty ID business, since locally the market would be booming!  Discuss...?

P.S
TOTALLY NOT A FED. *WINK WINK* LmAo

Is someone who isn't you looking to get into the novelty ID business in general, or just California's?

There's no mag strip but there is a barcode, only thing is that its reads as the last person who ordered a scannable barcode..

Well that's a big issue if it doesn't read the current person's info.

I can fix it of course, but that's the way I printed it to post here. If someone buys an ID I will redo it with their info but for bend test/hologram test and all that it's good to go.

I never said me specifically. ;)

If OP is confident in their product they have nothing to lose except the cost to produce Mr. Wonka. It'd be nice to see a video review at least. Make sure the bend test works, holograms don't just rub off, see if the edges split, test the color against an original side by side, scan test, UV, put it under abrasion to see if it holds up and if it's easy to give it a worn look, mag strip test if applicable...

I'd certainly be willing to send out the Wonka ID for review! It's already made so there's no loss in that at all. There's no mag strip but there is a barcode, only thing is that its reads as the last person who ordered a scannable barcode.  If anyone is a trusted member and happens to be able to get their hands on a real NC ID that would be preferable.

Are these on PVC, and what is the actual state's ID on?

BTW, thanks for posting a better picture.

Could you post a high res picture of the back on the ID as well?

They're PVC, and NC's are on PVC as well. Sure thing, I'll post a pic of back tomorrow

(sorry for the multiple posts, I can't get all the quotes in one post)

Looks good, but in the space that says 'race', you forgot to put 'niggers'

Why is it moving around so much, you should have set it down on a surface so we could see the holograms clearer

The way the lighting is, I have to move it to the side so you can see the hologram at all. Down on a surface you can hardly see it at all

Will you make one that says "Into Sanctuary" as the name, take a high resolution photo, and post it here?
I'll post one tomorrow

Let people who don't see you when they're backing up in the parking lot actually hit you instead of moving. Also, take out credit cards in your own name and have them verified and sent to other addresses (a vacant house, friend's house) order stuff and have them sent to that address, and wait a couple of months and report it as identity theft. You could really do that with just about any type of credit or loan that doesn't require a face to face interaction. You could also do the same with health care if you need it.
However this would only work if you have decent credit already and are able to wait for 6 months for your credit to go back to normal.

just realized this isn't a lawsuit, however the law is on your side. totally victimless, also nice.

Is anyone interested in a fake ID? I make NC fakes-they scan, they have a holograms, they pass the bend test and they are UV reactive. I can do one for $100, one and a backup for $150, and do buy 3/get one free. Price is somewhat negotiable.
