... and for the sake of his health he handed you ownership of Sanctuary, who would you have on your mod team and why? I'll start. Tragically we've too few people to mod every forum, so it'd have to be Global mods with a designated section:
Slave of the Beast, Idiosyncrasy1: Site Discussion.
Spectral, DaGuru2: Ego, Carnality
Rocklin3: Entertainment
Auschwitz Nazi Disneyland , Moaning Lisa4 : Technology
Σ5 :Art
Prometheus6: Nature, Science
Obbe7: Society
Unmodded8:The Black Hole
1) If you're going to help me by suggesting that as Admin I should go and do myself, it's only right and proper I mod the relevant forums. Idio' spends a lot of time there clearing up Arnox's mess, so I'd bribe him to do the same for me.
2) Probably the most contentious appointments I'd make. Hear me out; Spectral never dropped the ball as a mod (albeit briefly) on &T, in spite of very low expectations and hawked-eyed scrutiny. Both he and Daguru know how a community should in principle be run. I'd give them the chance to demonstrate that in practice.
3) He's already staff, posts in the relevant forums, and I hear very little about him. Generally speaking that means someone isn't fucking up.
4) AND would get his name back! Fine contributor on the tech' side and balanced temperament. ML for similar reasons to Rocklin and contributes to Gearheads.
5) Σ, admittedly not a familiar character to me, but posts in this section and seems to not be an asshole. That's a rarity in itself.
6) Obvious choice is obvious; I'd science-mod him in a heartbeat.
7) Oh lawdy, the arguments we've had in the distant past. ;D Old-school Totse, heavy contributor, does a great job at stimulating some crazy conversations. Another one I'd mod in a heartbeat.
8 ) The name I gave my forum's private garbage thread back on &T. Pray that what goes in there never escapes. It was used as the basic blueprint for NIMF on Totse and would be used as such here; essentially unmoderated, barring IP leaks, CP etc... I'd look for volunteers form the staff to informally keep an eye on it, on a rota basis. Or a dedicated volunteer, if they're so inclined.
The list isn't designed to be exclusionary. These are the people I'd start out with. As far as having a co-Admin(s) might go, that would depend largely on how the userbase felt as me being sole Admin. From that staff list I'd initially take Spectral and Auschwitz Nazi Disneyland on as admins. The userbase would have considerable say in this matter; defying overwhelming objection to an individual taking a particular position is a poison chalice. That would apply equally to me. If fading into the background is what is required for the benefit of the userbase then so be it.
And who knows... maybe Zek could just be The Thing that mods The Black Hole, with no posting privileges elsewhere on the site.

Personal bias aside (thanks for recommending me), that sounds like a good list to me. I will probably catch some flak for saying that. For the record, I have defended you as a mod in the past.
I do worry for Arnox's sanity at times. It can be a rough crowd.

I honestly didn't read the OP before now but after taking a quick glance at it it's a list of people to mod (despite the fact that history has shown that once people get modded they stop contributing and instead just circlejerk and get weird) with no mention of the actual forums that bring new users, BI, BLTC W and C, BB you also think Spectral and DaGuru are something more than cringey, stupid jokes which is kinda suspicious. I dunno, you make good and interesting posts with citations at times but wanting to mod the only other two people over the age of 40 who have a collective IQ under 67 doesn't bode well for ya.

I think that's part of the reason I was so insulted by arnox originally I was actually a pretty damn good mod my section when fang and then I modded it had a lot of quality posts in it with 0 problems and I even brought up the global mod settings with ghost when I called out the better living guy fiasco

No, you don't, but you've indicated the site isn't going to grow until you have more staff to manage increased traffic. Are you prepared to take the initial risk on staff in order to expand the userbase? Do you agree that the alternative, i.e. doing nothing, is stagnation and eventual deterioration of the userbase?

I was a mod of Totse's most flame-ridden forum 'till the TTFN. I was a mod of Zoklet, before stepping down and leaving several years ago in the knowledge that the site's fate was sealed due to chronic mismanagement. My conduct in those roles, with regards to interacting with users as a member of staff, was beyond reproach. The idea that I have a burning desire to relive some kind of past glory by becoming a mod on this site is a joke. I'm not interested.
I ask these questions of Arnox because his answers will dictate how long this site can be expected to survive as an active forum.

It's extremely hard to say. I'd keep a 1:2 fun:good mod ratio for the heavier traffic boards, keep strict mods in the serious boards, a fun/strict mod in Bad Ideas and shit like that, and shuffle the dumb shit mods into the trash can.
