I'm not trying to be a dick here... and I really do hope that I'm not upsetting anyone personally in saying so.
The percentage of entertaining/informative/useful posts being made here has been steadily decreasing in relation to the quantity of posts being made in total[/i] since I decided to join like a month ago... and taking into consideration the fact that said quantity of posts being made in total is ALSO steadily decreasing and has done so to a degree in which it is literally... fuck. How can I even verbalize this...
I am not trying to be insulting and I mean it. I just caught myself browsing a couple of threads and I felt SHAME... or perhaps even mild disgust in realizing what I was spending my time reading. I know better... because there are members of this community that when compiled together... are an enjoyable and irreplaceable collection of personalities and this shit has grown on me over the years. I have no shame in saying it.
It's like a weird fucking unspoken but agreed on idea lies within the subtext of all of the posts that cries out "I know... We all know... it's time to let this die. It just isn't going to work out" and no one is saying it. I see you all holding onto the combination of real and fabricated personalities you've crafted over time for those that I know quite well from zoklet and it's just eerie and depressing. Even when I see posts from members of worth and entertainment value like say Schplew, DaGuru, unstable, zek, malice and raspberry jam instead of truly enjoying it I think I'm subconsciously reminded of... um... let's say that episode of the simpsons where Flanderses house gets destroyed in the hurricane and the town builds it back and he's acting all happy and gracious but as he walks through it hiding it from everyone for the sake of whatever the fuck... he realizes over and over again reasons as to why he's not really in a better place than he was before learning of this new home. I know - terrible example and it's still better than probably anything posted in this forum today.

I feel like on zoklet even... even towards the end but definitely during all but the final year or so, this very thread would be taken seriously by a population and there would be a variety of the types of responses. Serious/useless/funny/stupid/smart/jokes/whatever. Had I not just included the sentence preceding this I feel that although I probably still would end up seeing this very thread on the top of Bitch & Moan or near it a week from now... It would likely contain 80% useless, bandwidth wasting fucking garbage. I'm seriously sorry but it needs to be said. I feel that Arnox would make some post exhibiting specifically and directly his lack of understanding of my motives for saying the things I'm saying and without consideration for error ratio in his judgement, would take it personally or passive-aggressively indicate his dis-taste in something about me and my ignorance or something... Maybe not and I do apologize if I'm being a jerk I actually feel serious about that this time. I understand I could be wrong. Ok carrying on, I feel that also contained would likely be 15-16 posts that are evident to be nothing more than what you'd see if casual encounters between friends in highschool on cigarette breaks making mediocre jokes to each other and shit were converted to text and compiled on a forum that is supposed to represent fucking totse?
Then there'd be 1-2 funny posts, MAYBE 1 thought provoking post and 3-4 serious responses by spectral or something... then some cliche, boring UMAD emoticon (oh i wonder what is coming next), some sanctuary member that was here before zoklet claiming to agree. Arnox responding a second time dismissing the concerns. 3 people then insulting Arnox unintelligently. A bunch of messy looking quotes and then that's just it for the entire week aside from bling bling calling someone a fag in the title of a thread and spelling something wrong and having some sort of rap typed up inside followed by mashlesmasch and his mouth hanging open right below with "ARE YOU... A WIZARD!!!" in his avatar over and over again like its still going to be surprising that WIZARD is what's going to be said at the bottom of it with a post that was literally typed for no reason other than for the sake of having something, anything to type after hitting "Reply" out of habit due to some absolute desperation for interaction...
I'm not saying that's what I think is up, but that's what I think any new users that could potentially join or just NOT join might think and thats just one example. Not trying to single you out for lack of effort mashlesmash but STEP IT UP. all of you.
I'm saying this because I care about this community and if it seems things get better to ANY degree around here and that it may be a trend then I'll voluntarily do my best to help the cause. Otherwise... I... can't fucking be a part of this community. I just imagined one of you actually posting something like "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" and I strongly think had I not just pre-emptively predicted it it would have actually come. That's how bad the situation is.

we need instigators to piss people off and provoke hilarious and entertaining flame wars that have legit butthurt and therefore passion to some degree behind at least one side of them.[/i] I feel that I'm a bit too old for that kind of thing now unless I really end up enjoying watching some new person get annoyed & have a different agenda for being part of a community like this now...
I hate to say this as well but I really don't see it happening. That is - for this community to ever thrive in the future and not be the cause of such undesirable feelings in at least a portion of those perceptive enough to see the reasons as to why they should be felt if even subconsciously.

Goodbye you guys. It has been an interesting 10 years to say the least. Holy fuck I just realized I made up this name on totse 10 years ago in grade 11 and became infamously hated so quickly. I'd laugh my fucking ass off making it seem as if I truly was the most hilariously retarded serious poster I could imagine. I dunno if anyone else did. k i'm done for real.
