Yeah, that's just gonna result in banning a bunch of tor exit nodes and malware infected IP's that would never be back anyways. Tor was banned on zoklet so zok could do even LESS work and didn't have to worry about spambots. I DEFINITELY hurt the site quite a bit, no one can deny that, especially how redundent it was to have approved moderation (even banning certain email providers) and tor banned, when the description of "bad ideas" encouraged people to use Tor. Zok was an idiot.. Please don't make the same mistakes, bby
If you want to prevent pedos from posting, write a script that triggers a capcha that requres java upon entry from a tor node, have a redirect to another page with a 0 day exploit or something else that's fun and unmasks tor users. You already have cookies but they're no good if you're using a VM, which I'm sure any pedo is. So yeah, do some java shit to unmask the tor users, get their real IP and if just ONE gets arrested (anonymously, don't mention your website, with the five eyes going nuts, pigs don't need a warrant and if you already have an IP they're laughing) they'll all stop and you'll be leader we need/deserve and you'll never have to worry about kitty prom again
