Been a while since I've seen that movie. So hokey it was good. Might have to watch it again.

Here is the first part of what the noun idiosyncrasy means, according to Wikipedia:
"Idiosyncrasy, from Greek ιδιοσυγκρασία, idiosyngkrasía, "a peculiar temperament", "habit of body" (idios "one's own" and syn-krasis "mixture") is defined as an individualizing quality or characteristic of a person or group, and is often used to express eccentricity or peculiarity. The term can also be applied to symbols. Idiosyncratic symbols mean one thing for a particular person, as a blade could mean war, but to someone else, it could symbolize a surgery. By the same principle, linguists state that words are not only arbitrary, but also largely idiosyncratic signs."

When I first signed up for totse, I was trying to think of something to set myself apart. I didn't want something stupid, and I didn't want it to be too specific, but also not too abstract. I was thinking, "What would make me an individual?" I know that being a part of totse was a very individualistic characteristic of a person because most people don't think the same way that we do, and they couldn't respect totse the same way that we do. Therefore, I figured that my presence on totse was its own defining characteristic that may make up any individuality I may possess. Naturally, totse, like many other things, became an idiosyncrasy of my life that, when combined with many other defining facets of my life would comprise what I have come to call... myself. The posts I make are true to myself and may be collaborately known as my personality. Therefore, totse was my idiosyncrasy. The name carried over from there.

As for my avatar, totse used to be called &totse, which people often shortened to &T. The 2008 halftime show featured Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. I saw that close up that showed him in front of the & T and liked it. So it became my avatar upon the closing of totse.

Full size for blind people.

I used to get people asking me why i was so pretty via PM on &T2 because of that picture.

Rocklin is the name of an old role that John Wayne played in 1944,  the movie was made for the war and was shown to american troops while on leave in rear areas.

Pretty self explanatory. I'll go first.

Name: It's a name for a fictional character I thought of long ago in my head. His full name is Arnox Immordium and he's got a pretty darn long fantastical history. Sufficeth to say though that he's pretty powerful. One of the few people who have mastered combining physical combat with Energy Manipulation.

some have delusions...some have visions.
Some induce those visions.
MXE is best for taking those visions next level
Sometimes...you can cry until there's nothing wet in you. You can scream and curse to where your throat rebels and ruptures. You can pray, all you want, to whatever god you think will listen. And, still it makes no difference. It goes on, with no sign as to when it might release you. And you know that if it ever did relent...it would not be because it cared.

This is my oldest of nicks and I figured I'd continue to use it. Originally I snagged the nick and modified from the Xombie series on Newgrounds. Mephistopheles was chosen because it is on Blue Exorcist each evening when I write papers

Well my name is because of lots and lots of black people,
and my avatar, well, of course.

Black people.

I used to draw furries all the fucking time, and my avatar is a throwback from when i roamed &T2 as a little shit-bad anime nerd in highschool.

Username is from when i played runescape back in the day when i was like 12 or 13.
Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore.
Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou," I said, "art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the Nightly shore —
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!"
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

Night- A period of truth. Void the illusion of the sun. A sword and shield.
Shift- A destined action, an alteration of observed normalcy.

The avatar is a symbol of infinity, duality and unity.

My name is Sigma Σ, not fucking omega Ω, or beta β, or alpha α. I chose it because of its mathematical ties as I am a hardcore nerd.

My avatar is this hot bitch i found on the net.

I am Zharek, a Templar from an order harboring a dark, heretical secret. A Templar from an order whose own brothers fell to the influence of ruinous powers, but carries on bearing his crosses, vowing one day to lay his traitorous brothers to rest.

(avatar is dark angel veteran from wh40k, lore behind that chapter is pretty much what happened to the splintering of totse)

Appropriately melodramatic.
