Natural flow of conversation imo.
In relation to the OP the 'natural flow' argument, i.e.
conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with the OP, could be applied to any thread that turns into a tranny flamefest/Arnox is a faggot/this site sucks ass discussion. It would be perfectly valid using your version of 'natural flow'; if that's where the conversation goes then so be it. But apparently it isn't valid; look at the banlist.
It would also mean you could derail what ever you liked with some of your attention-seeking 'let's be nice to each other and talk about kittens' tripe. Oh, I forgot,
you already do that with absolute impunity Thank you for your usual revealing and high-calibre input, Zek.
Just let it flow man, let it flow.
I don't know, some folks have a higher tolerance for what is deemed as natural conversation flow than others. Just apply some common sense. If you are actually trying to disrupt a thread, then it's pretty noticeable and you could be infracted for it. Other things may be a bit off topic, but still fit within the "natural flow of the conversation" parameters.
I don't infract much for derailment because I like to let threads form their own shape. It's just when people are intentionally disruptive and general prats outside of the general disruption and general prat designated space that I pause to determine what I want to do.
If I post or read a thread I don't want it derailed within ~20 posts to a completely unrelated topic; it's a hugely annoying waste of my time,
especially if I'm the OP. I don't care how 'nice' or 'naturally flowing' the
derailing prat is.
I'm a little surprised that people still ask questions about whether or not they can post a certain way. If that little forum voice inside your head is telling you something, then it's often wise to heed it.
You should talk to some of your colleagues about the little voices inside their heads, Idio.
Really, you should.
