Daguru is all about forum politics. Always has been. It's what he does, point out what's wrong with the administration. Unfortunately he is usually spot on.
Its not what I'm all about, but at the same time I'm not going to have someone piss on my leg and insist its really raining. Until Arnox modded the derailing un-daddy I supported just about every other decision he made and enjoyed the direction/focus he had. I'm just not going to ignore common sense in the pursuit of the rhetoric of kissing the admins ass just so he "likes me" or thinking I'm "nice".
I hear you man. Same here. Up until Zek turned out to actually be Zek I would defend Arnox because he does an alright job, is active, actually listens to the community (even if he is not receptive, he at least listens) but this whole Zek fiasco has changed everything. It gives alot of insight into what kind of person Arnox really is. Anyone who studies psychology or is observant of human behavior can read volumes into his psyche from how he has responded.
Still waiting to hear Zek's "merits".. still wondering what the "experiment" was.. Why the fuck would you keep someone as a mod who most of the community hates? Because he is doing such a good job? As if being a mod here is hard.. like he is irreplaceable because noone could do as good a job. Pleaase. If this were an IRL company, and one of his employees was catching this much public flack, they would have been fiired 4 weeks ago.
I get that this is just a website, and that arnox is dictator.. obviously if it was a democracy zek would never have been elected. Or maybe he would have been? If Arnox would just share with us the wonderful "merits" zek displayed in the whole week before he was modded.
What this tells me about arnox is that he is either A) too stubborn or B) too embarassed by his decision to can zek. Either way, it shows that he can't take being wrong. Even when half of his user base is calling him a retard, he would rather defend his decision to save face than to correct his mistake and admit that he was full of shit from the start.
I mean damn he got his 15 minutes of fame after Zoklet went down, but if he doesn't get rid of zek soon more people are going to say fuck it and either leave or migrate to another site. Only reason we're here now is because the alternatives suck dick. Just wait til a viable option comes along..
