I'm not going to apologize for what I did at all. I still stand by my decision to mod him/her. I talked to eq for a while and asked her a lot of questions about her posting history on Zoklet. (got upset with the unfair moderation and basically gave up on the site) I was satisfied with the answers. And if you really need to ask why I lied, it was both an experiment and done to keep unnecessary drama down.

A little warning though. If I see anyone start pulling threads wildly off-topic just to spread the drama around, there's gonna be some infractions getting handed out. That is all.

1. It wasn't just an experiment at all. Again, it was done to keep the drama to a minimum level. In fact that's the main reason.

2. The lie affected precisely NOTHING. I have looked through all her actions and have found none of them to be demod worthy and neither has my staff. And that was what really mattered. Her actions as a mod and if she followed the rules. (She did.) What difference does it really make if she was really Zek or Chuck Jones or Jeff Hunter?

3. I didn't WANT to lie but this is one of those you-can't-handle-the-truth moments as this thread so wonderfully proves. And besides, as eq said, it wasn't going to be forever. She decided to tell everyone though at the wrong time in somewhat the wrong way.

If you still think it was a poor decision, so be it. Again though, I stand by everything I've done. Oh, and actually, even if I WANTED to step down, there's no one suitable to take my place right now. Sorry.

Demodding zek when people initially brought issue with it would have made "drama" non existent, and apart from you not wanting to be wrong and fighting tooth and nail to justify that you made the right call.
