All this chitchat over what the future holds is nice and all but it remains to be seen how these new rules are applied. The last set was grossly misinterpreted with ensuing bans the result. Case in point...a modtard accusing a poster of spamming when it was plainly obvious the reason for multiple posts was an attempt to make a proper post but the sites inherent idiotic limitations were the direct reason.

Rules can be written to say anything.  Its the interpretation of how the rules are enforced that will be the determining factor

Demodding the modtard  street-crap was a good start.  A very good start

Try to avoid making personal attacks and other non-productive posts.  We're all friends here, right? :)

This isnt the hello-kitty love fest. If anyone cant handle some internet hazing and abuse I dont want to associate with the little bitches. They shouldn't be allowed on the internet, much less allowed to register on this site

By a large margin he is correct here the users on all the previous sites to this one were never running a hugbox an I'm sorry but if you think someone coming off too strong is trolling and constantly flaming an you believe that's a good enough reason to dismiss any complaints they have I see this site getting worse before it even gets close to getting in order

Theres ten other threads about him? Other than that...hell if I know

In any other reputable site the offending mod would make a post on why they took the action they did. 'This is a spam thread that had been duplicated 15 times. Locked'

Good to know the site will now be dominated by butthurt fags hiding behind the rules and a staff control panel. Now I know not to invest anything in it.

New Mission Statement: We like the touchy-feely environment here. Please do not hurt our tender feelings. We bruise very easily. Flame us and you'll be banned. Have a nice day.

I was the first one to make a thread on the topic.  At least two more were created afterwards. I made a post notifying the mods they should merge the threads.  It never happened

The new rules will be discussed before they are applied.

But see, it still IS very confusing and sending a conflicting message. If you were sincere about getting "community involvement" you would start throwing out ideas and asking for the users input. Perhaps originate a thread for each issue you are reconsidering, wait a couple of days to a week for everyone to get their 2 cents in, then deliberate behind the scenes with the staff. But the fact you are taking this long with "internal discussions" before posting the new rules, makes it seem you are apparently putting significant thought and time in regard to them...with ZERO input from the members. Can't you understand the conflict?

No, and the fact you post such a request, is just another passive aggressive attempt at instigating things further along with wanting to rile people up.

Can this also be addressed along with these new rules? The fact you have the most active moderator that represents such an embarrassing  example that is in complete conflict to the culture of this website and the kind of users that are attracted to these kinds of discussions and topics? NOBODY else on these boards thinks in this fashion....except maybe Arnox himself. Why is this wishy washy pollyanna nonsense allowed to permeate and attempt to influence how people post?

Passive aggressive troll now plays the "stupid card" as a way to get even more attention.
