Good ways to get (non-violent) revenge on a teacher?
« on: October 02, 2014, 09:41:18 pm »
DISCLAIMER: The situation and all of the people involved are purely hypothetical. I wish to inquire about this for educational purposes only. Any resemblance to real life people and/or events is purely coincidental. Coincidentally, I also employ stringent security and privacy safeguards to protect my identity on both ends.

Now, with that out of the way...

There is a teacher at my school that gives everyone a hard time, and is both arrogant and disliked by most of the students. The man runs English classes and a boot camp class, and uses ineffective, authoritarian teaching methods in each one. In other words, he is on a power trip. I have strongly considered lodging a legitimate complaint, but the school system is very corrupt...one teacher has stated that he could literally sit at his desk, do nothing and be unable to be fired (fortunately, that one is decent).

I seek to end his career or at least land him in some serious trouble, and I would appreciate assistance in this matter. Violence is absolutely out of the question, as is anything that hurts innocents (though if needed, there are deserving students that I can use as 'second marks').

I am no longer in the man's class and I can assure you I will not be a prime suspect in any matter, as I have a clean record and intend to cover my tracks thoroughly.

One method I have considered would be to send an e-mail to him (the teachers have no spam filters) with an image that includes a keylogger or remote control virus (I know this can be done, but I'm not certain exactly how), steal his password, login to his email account and sending highly inappropriate commentary or incriminating pictures to another teacher.

Please, offer your suggestions as to how I can accomplish this (without getting caught, of course). Your feedback is appreciated.

NOTE: I will ignore: attempts to dissuade me, troll comments, general stupidity, etc. so don't bother, I'll simply pretend they don't exist.

You aren't in any of his classes anymore, why not just man up and confront him about his issues face to face?

Seriously why go to all this trouble? Just walk up to him and tell him what you think of him

The government still gives him authority over me, so I will not confront him. My concern is also for other people (namely, siblings) who may be forced to enter his class (they don't allow you to switch teachers). I simply do not think it's right for him to be allowed to continue on his power trip.

Get over it.  Hopefully your siblings are more level-headed than you are and will be able to put up with his teaching style.  If they're not, they should speak with the district officials.

As I said, troll comments and attempts to dissuade me will be ignored. Does anyone have any useful advice?

hes on a power trip precisely because hes in a position of authority.  i bet his wife beats him

he needs to be shown hes a bitch, publicly, and often.  he already has a fragile ego...smash it completely

your passive-aggressive plan sucks.  a lot.  and is going to not only fail dismally but wind up with you being the one getting in trouble.

This.  I mean you can do what you want, but this is just asking for legal trouble of your own.  You're talking about keyloggers and remote viruses without any idea of how to accomplish any bit of it.  If you attempt this you're likely to get caught.  Or, more likely, you won't be able to accomplish much of anything and you'll get bored with it all before you come up with a viable plan.  Which is good.

But yeah, keep brainstorming if you want, I guess.  Maybe some BI regulars will help you out.

based on what he posted its obvious he has no clue about computer forensics.  even a podunk small-town PD has access to software tools to make his plan fail in about 5 minutes

For your information, I do have some knowledge of this, and have access to resources should I need to use them. And as I said, this is just an idea I had. If you want to criticize, be constructive about it.

I'm aware of the legal risks involved.

Your mistake was leaving without having settled this dispute. You should go to his department head and file a formal complaint against him, but having waiting so long means this could be ineffective.

If he's got tenure, shit on his car.

Molotov his car. Doesn't even matter if you get caught, you're a minor and will not be subjected to harsh punishment.
