No, not really, Cdn roofers are mostly barely literate ex cons who hide beer in chimneys and have to stay competitive by giving cut rate estimates because literally anyone can do it. I'm in a wheelchair and have a fused spine and I did roofing before for something to do because my buddy started a company when he was 18 or 19. It's pretty much the lowest of the trades actually, requires nothing but the willingness to climb on a roof and work as slow as you want because you're on someones roof and unless they want to get up there on the roof themselves they can't tell you shit. When you finish a roof there's no quality control and as long as it doesn't leak the first time it rains you did your job, fucking landscaping is a more honorable profession in my mind

Posting histories DO equal age. When you go through a couple of hundred posts on a user, and you see it's all lame, useless crap as far as the eye can see, you can safety assume that member is 12 years old or less. That has nothing to do with me. It's just a fact.

All very good points. I guess I shouldn't have said respectable trade, but simply, trade. Working any job is better than working none.

Also how did you get a wheelchair onto a roof?
