Haven't done it in years but ... anyone know why the experience is so strange and, well, creepy?   Compared to drugs like lsd anyway.   Any answers?

extremely scary.

ive broken through many times, which is similar to how you feel on dmt, you have to get to that point where yuou take a huge hit, hold it in forever, then blow out and you dont even remember blowing out, thats when you know you broke through.

the shit used to be really popular at local headshops around here but now it isn't really around anymore i dont think because its not very recreational and really just horrifying.

each time it feels so scary, like that trip that just made you permanently retarded feeling, and you cant really form thoughts or words but you want to because you want to tell people to help basically or thats how i always felt.

you can overcome these feelings but by the time you do that your trip is pretty much over leaving you feeling hungoverish/next day after a big acid trip feeling, sort of just ''off center''...weird....

anyway i dont think the shit is worth anything, but some people seem to like it, my only suggestions are to have someone who knows about it with you to watch you or if you dont have that at least have a few friends around to make sure you dont walk out a window or anything insane, which is TOTALLY possible on salvia, look up some of the youtube videos. so just make sure you have at least probably 2 trip sitters who can overpower you if possible


chances are you arent gonna go full blown pcp fueld nigger on cops mode but you could do some crazy shit for sure.

Because unlike LSD which basically just alters the perception of your environment....it takes you completely out of your environment and drops you into another place entirely. And you have little to no control of where you are at for those 3-5 minutes you are on that journey.

I tried Salvia 3 different times a few years ago, the first with a sitter and the other two by myself. I'm a very strong willed and strong minded person...and the last 2 "places" I went to, I could not escape it...instead just ride it out. I'm not saying those trips were necessarily "bad" places to visit....but the experience itself was so powerful, along with the emotions and knowledge(?) I was experiencing almost felt taboo in a sense....like I had broken a plane human beings aren't supposed to venture into.

This may sound crazy, but I do believe Salvia does have some kind of bridge of sorts to different dimensions and possibly other beings. I think the shamans of old that used it to enhance their "vision quests" knew what they were tapping into, and could very well have discovered worlds and possible existences that most normal people can't even comprehend.

I used blotter and mescaline a couple of dozen times in my life, and while many were quite intense along with all of them being fun, as well as spiritually and emotionally rewarding....it doesn't even come close to the escape and experience of Salvia.

Did Salvia make me a "better" or possibly more "knowledgable" person? Perhaps, but at the same time I still can't stop thinking I messed with something and went to places us mere mortals have no place being....at least not in this life. Also keep in mind you have to take the context that I'm a married guy with a son and have a fairly decent life....so my fear of the unknown(and worry about losing all of that) gives me more trepidation and concern of throwing all of that into upheaval or never being able to come back to "life as I know it" again.

I wonder what the health implications of smoking salvia on a regular basis from a young age are.

I felt broken on Saliva, trapped between dimensions and frantically trying to escape from whatever it was I'd fell into. I felt like my life prior to Salvia had just been one entire moment and this was something entirely separate. I was actually just flailing around on the floor talking nonsense, then I ran upstairs and eventually came back down hoping everything was back to normal. It took about fifteen minutes to feel confident I had returned to the same place in one piece, like I was expecting to turn the news on and find it being read by a lizard or something. Transported to parallel worlds.

So yeah, kids on Salvia.
