My moms friend is flying back to scotland just so she can vote and this seems like one in a recent string of good things happening in my life and the world which leaves me very optimistic and shit. If they get it (insha Allah) it'll be the first foreign country I visit legally

Truth is, even the opponents of independence admit GDP would grow 1-2K a year for 10 years, it's just a matter of what happens after and Scots being the smartest, toughest, most financially astute, sexiest and most capable of northern europeans, I think they'll be just fine.

From what I've seen in polls a lot of young people are against independence. It's also pretty bullshit Scots living in England/Wales don't get to vote, even though they will surely be given citizenship in the case of independence.

It's a load of bollocks really. Slimy Alex Salmond, former oil exec, trying to get a piece of the action Norway has and Scotland isn't the same creature as a homogeneous Scandinavian nation at all. Say goodbye to all those nice benefits, free university education and the NHS and get ready for 20+ years of crushing hardship (seriously). For what?
