While I'm not a dog person at all, this is just further indication of the altruistic and very generous heart you possess, towards people and all creatures on the planet.

And its a great sign to see her looking so inquisitively out the window in these pics and not just cowering in a corner like when you first met her. Seems to be a good match already....good luck!

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I did want to make sure I got a "rescue" dog, just so that's one less neglected dog in a shelter, but also...it's different for you, you know? When you go home, you have a family. You have a kid and a wife and there are people living in your home besides you. Whenever I go home, it's just...well...an empty house. I needed something else to occupy the space.

Believe me, I'm well aware of how unbelievably lame and sappy that sounds. But, until I get myself into another long term relationship, a neurotic dog is gonna have to be my company around here. Also, I don't want to over extend myself, but like I said before - if this all goes well and we settle in nicely, I think I'm going to swing back up there and adopt a cat, too.

I was under the impression that no one on here would make enough money to own a house. I mean I wouldn't think people here would be sitting on 200,000$ to 300,000$. And if they did it would be shown with purchases in the bltc section. But good for you proots.

Well, this Baelee here, with all her theatrics...I'm suspecting her of being a drama queen. When I took her home, I thought she would just cower in her little kennel and not come out or at least want some time away from me. You know, what with the over stimulation of the car ride and everything. Nope. She's the very opposite of scared and terrified now. Jumping everywhere, following me around, coming when I call her, going for runs, looking out the window ledge that I carpeted for her...she's great.

Now, these aren't the best pictures because I only have a built in webcam on my computer and, she likes to run around a lot so catching her while she's still is difficult.

I think it's just glad to be sprung from dog prison.

Yeah, I can't imagine how stressful and crazy of an environment that must be for some animals. Noisy, constant barking/meowing, thousands of different animal smells, it must be really hectic and taxing.
