The poll seems fairly conclusively against it. What does everyone think about a better rendered/drawn version of the current header to replace it instead of a logo?

I like the idea of fuxxing with the title than having a logo...thats how it was on &t and &t2, and it worked fine

I agree with Arnox in saying that the site as is, of right now, is way too plain looking. We haven't done much to individualize it more-so than our name and purpose. At least an attempt in a logo was a valid effort to try and get some sort of work done. I don't think the design looks like shit, I think it's pretty good considering nobody else has yet to offer an alternative, and that it's by one of us.

NOW.

I also agree with the rest of the majority here, because the giant fucking space between then shoutbox, forum, and page header is pretty obnoxious. I have to cross a sea in order to see the rest of the only index page on the entire site. Making the already headache enticing continuity of the forum that much worse.

Seeing as we are in H&S anyways, May I offer a my 2 cents?

1. Instead of trying to get all jazzy, I whole hardheartedly think we should ALL BE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE THE SITE READ AND WRITE CLEARER. WE DON'T NEED TO GET ALL FUCKING FLAMBOYANT AND TRY TO BUILD THE FUCKING EIFFEL TOWER!! SERIOUSLY!! We have no fucking continuity! there is no header page, we have no mission statement, the entire forum just feels like a giant Innuendo, and it drives me a little bit bonkers, and this is me just being honest. SO I PROPOSE, that we work on maybe centralizing our efforts into re-creating our textfile archive and create an anthology the best we can from the first 2 sites (and further back if we can dig deep enough), recreating a mission statement, and "CHILLING THE FUCK OUT BRO WE'RE A COMMUNITY WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!"

2. Instead of being so fucking defeatist and common all the time, figure out a way to not instantly call everyone else around you SHITBAD. we only call Newcomers shitbads, Not the fucking only reason you still have a forum to act like a 14 year old on. Instead of telling Arnox his logo sucks and he should die, think about the fact that he is a human being just like you are, and if you tell him calmly why you don't like it instead of immediately calling him a twat nugget and do what Shiva tried to do and validate a reason why he did not appreciate the logo.
