Replacing a flywheel in a F150
« on: November 18, 2014, 12:31:39 am »
Does anyone know how difficult it would be to replace the flywheel in a F150? I'd like to do it myself and save some money, (and because I like getting my hands dirty). I have no idea the difficulty level though, other than being told I should probably have someone else do it.

I don't have much under the hood experience, but I am very good with mechanical things, and can follow a repair manual like a champ.
I'll try anything once, and twice to be sure.

2wd or 4wd?

bellhousing bolts are going to be the hardest part, that, or crawling around under jack stands if you don't have access to a lift.

if you can get a lift, its a morning job, on jack stands I'd set aside a day for it.
Ill give you a hands-free prostate exam with the same instrument I use as a tongue depressor
