Porn Passes & Changes to Rule #5

A couple people have been complaining about the porn pass threads lately. Now, I originally only allowed them because they were also allowed to a degree on totse2. However, this is a new start after all and I think we need to decide on whether or not we want to allow it now. Keep in mind, even if they are allowed, they may only post their site ONCE. Either way, we're not going to have a bunch of repetitive threads telling us there's new daily passwords on a daily password site.

So this is how it was originally worded:

No advertising of any kind whatsoever unless done in specified forums, and even then, only if cleared to do so by an admin or global mod.

This is how the rule's gonna look after I change it:

No advertising your own site, service, or thing unless publicly cleared to do so by an admin or global mod. This also includes people affiliated with the creation, maintenance, or advertisement of a site, service, or thing.

So, vote yay or nay and decide the fate of the porn pass threads. Do you still want them to be posted or not?

Fuck no, it's an unnecessary burden on the server and if it brings in one person who ends up sticking around and contributing it'll bring in 5000 people who come for the passes and never register, hogging bandwidth and server memory.

Are you going to moderate Flesh Art to make sure this happens? Are any of these desperate leeches going to care about obeying your rules? Won't they just register alts to post the same shit and convolute matters further?

It's a pain in the arse to moderate and the act of harvesting these paid accounts and redistributing the login information is illegal so I just don't see the point in accommodating these cunts.

I agree with arnox on keeping them in one thread.   no need to make multiple threads on the same day.
each one is its own brand like alcohol or smokes and should just renew its own thread once a day instead of making new ones everyday.

This. I say 0 porn passes should be allowed, all it does is spam and clutter the site up. If anyone ever wants porn passes, they can find them independently.

Yeah, I'm just gonna end the poll right there then. It looks pretty obvious what the majority opinion is.

From now on, porn pass ads are no longer allowed. You guys can celebrate now.

These changes will take full effect two days from now to allow the affected posters some time to absorb the new rule. Before that time comes though, anyone who posts porn pass ads will just receive a PM stating that they are not allowed to post such. If they do it again though after said PM, they will be banned.
