He was always a hopeless pathetic. This community has never had a legitimate leader, it's always been helm'd by degenerate addicts, lazy defeatists or just complete losers. All we need is a message board (this one works), relaxed moderation (erm... I know you're reading this arnox), and a strategy to help bring new people to the site.
Unfortunately we do nothing interesting to gather the attention of anyone who's not introduced to this site directly from someone else. We're on our own little irrelevant island of the internet.
Agree totally. It's kind of a catch 22, if we had more members we would have more content but we can't get them because we don't have much to offer right now..
The shit poster to quality poster ratio is fucked. But if that is what keeps us active, I think it's a good thing. Rather be active with little content than dead like LLZ.
People need to step the fuck up. Personally I am really lazy so I don't have much room to talk. Bad Ideas is probably our most attractive forum and even that one is lacking.
BLTC isn't doing so well, but there are tons of forums dedicated specifically to drugs (drug forum, blue light, opiophile) so we are never going to be #1 as far as that goes, although we accept much more controversial aspects/topics that might be deleted on the mainstream forums. They're all about harm reduction.
The mods really need to step up in deleting spam from actual useful topics. That's another issue, even when a good topic is posted the trolls roll in and derail the fuck out of em. (not always tho) As a community we need to look down on trolling in topics with useful information.
Yes. In this era people are not going to go to a generalist website (as totse was intended) to discuss drugs, politics, BI, etc.
The core to this website is the lulz, stories and flaming.
