I joined just because I wanted to see them tell me to fuck off.. but they actually greeted ME warmly... it was kinda weird and not as satisfying
The staff at Long Live Zoklet would like to announce the sites first official contest. The rules are simple and there are three prizes. The first three users who create 25 quality threads which elicit at least 10 good replies will receive a custom user title of their choice. PEOO and HB threads are not eligible for this contest. The quality of the threads will be judged by the staff for the purposes of choosing the winners. We will not be keeping track of your score so if you feel you have won please PM one of the staff members with a list of your threads and we will review your entries. Seems like Rodent and the past mods of Zoklet missed their calling, they all should have been a bunch of 5th grade language arts teachers.
We should all go over and visit tDR and have him ban us... just for old time's sake.
You'd think someone would have an epiphany if they stepped back from themselves and realized their site was so dire they were having to bribe people to post. To be honest I quietly have a morbid admiration for the level of tunnel vision required to go head-first into this kind of death spiral without even blinking.

Kinda reminds me of the "volunteers" in 1500 BC who used to willingly walk off a plank into active volcanoes to appease the lesser gods. Are there any ex-Zoklet users wouldn't you want to join LLZ? Are there any users the admins here would actually prevent/ban from joining? From want I've read I guess -SpectraL and Daguru wouldn't be welcome and I'd agree with that. The only other one I can think off the top of my head is maybe Slave of the Beast.What do people think?
