On the video of the beheading of James Foley
« on: October 10, 2014, 01:09:01 am »
Hi all. I trust that some of you have heard about this case. I was looking it up on google, and I found this article, which raised a lot of very good, thought-provoking questions about this video. Link here: http://topinfopost.com/2014/09/02/th...-censor-itself

I don't know if links like that are allowed on this forum and just in case if they aren't, I will quote some of the stuff written in that article, basically stuff that I'd call "thought-provoking".

Here it is:
The most interesting thing about the video is that despite the hype in the media, there was no actual beheading in the video. The TIME article headline was not an accurate description of the video. There was a dead body that was, as many in the media have said, “purportedly” a beheaded James Foley, but the actual act of beheading is not shown. The video does show someone purportedly using a knife to saw at Foley’s neck, but there is no blood and seems to be no actual cut.
We have seen the videos out of Syria, which are truly atrocious, or the video of thebeheading of Daniel Pearl a journalist killed by Al-Qaeda, but unlike those there was a strange absence of blood in this video. The supposed killer just puts the knife to Foley’s neck, saws back and forth for a few moments and no blood comes out. Then it cuts to a shot of a severed head over a dead body.
Why didn’t the most brutal terrorist group, according to western media, show the actually bloody murder to get the full terrorizing effect? And why hadn’t the lack of that scene been a crucial part of the media’s coverage? The video left me with more questions than answers. It called out for professional analysis of the video so there could be a higher degree of confidence in the authenticity of the video than the US government’s assurances could provide. IS not showing the actual beheading makes little sense.

It is unclear what the staging of this video means. Did IS do it, if so why? Did someone else do it, if so why and who? The problem is that every conspiracy video like this would be incomplete without a stock conclusion that goes something like this “This is an irregularity! Foley’s throat wasn’t cut by this knife! Therefore this entire video is a false flag operation.” (If you do not know the term ‘false flag’ think Gulf of Tonkin.) However a conspiracy cannot be proved by this video alone, it doesn’t ‘follow’ though it certainly isn’t impossible. A classic coincidence that deepens the suspicions but still proves nothing is the report by the White House that there was a failed raid in Syria to rescue Foley by US Special Forces.

I personally think that this video is, more likely than not, staged. I believe that IS is funded by the US government so that they (the latter) will have an excuse to invade that region. What do you guys think?

All these "beheadings" have been faked by the US government in a feeble attempt to draw public sympathy for their illegal wars for profit. They've passed the point of pathetic long, long ago, and now they are completely shameless. Now it's just really them supporting their own delusions in their own pathetic little war-mongering, puny minds and their own little make-believe world. They're nothing but sub-human scum in fancy monkey suits. Treasonous, mass-murdering, terrorist filth - which the coming civil war will correct soon enough. These are the very same clowns who engineered 9/11, the Boston Bombings, Sandy Hook, and all the other false flag operations in the past two decades. Rich-beyond-measure corporate goons who've managed to hijack the entire US government and US military, and they have all the mass media playing out these fake setups one after the other. People are so stupid, they'll believe anything.

putting aside conspiracy theories for the moment, it's most likely the video is real.

they specifically used a foreign fighter for the beheading video because they knew it'd stir up the dust; someone who was easily recognisable (a failed English rapper from memory) because they knew it'd make them look like a massive international operation... that's the one thing DAASH have going for them - they're very, very good at using the western media to hype them up, and the media's more than happy to because executions = ratings. up until recently, sectarian militias have been avoiding directly provoking the west.

the reason why it cut away is likely because the 'executioner' was just a disillusioned middle class manchild who knew nothing about murder, and wasn't able to complete the task himself. a group that wanted to come of as extreme as possible to the media would not want to show their star executioner as vomiting, changing his mind or simply doing a horribly amateur job of it.
