I have a huge back lit HDTV that doesn't turn on anymore. I think it was damaged due to humidity/moisture because my basement flooded (no water actually reached the set) I plug it in and the indicator light turns on but the screen itself is black. No menu items nothing. I think the back light is just burned out. I took it apart and looked at the capacitors and they're all fine so before anyone posts those youtube videos, its not the capacitors.
Anyone know if humidity can damage circuit boards or cause lamps to burn out prematurely? Where/how do i get a replacement or link to a guide on how to replace them or any general advice? I have no idea how much it would cost to get professionally repaired...
