As much as i dont want to post this, I also dont want you people to kill yourselves by using shitty extremely impure stuff (fingernail polish with its dyes and its fragrances)to make your AP
Don't expect me to post here anymore.
Acetone peroxide is easy shit. You go to Lowes or home depot and you get a quart of acetone for 4 bucks. While you’re there you get a gallon of muriatic acid for around 4 bucks. You then go to the grocery store or to Wal-mart or something and you buy a bottle or 2 of that shitty 3% H202
You need to concentrate your hydrogen peroxide. Pour it in a pot and stick it ion the stove. You look on the bottle and you see how many ml there are in the bottle. A normal bottle is something like 743 ml. You need to boil this amount down to 1/4th of its initial volume. That means that if you have 743 ml you boil it till you have 92 ml. If you want to see exactly how many ml you need you type this into a calculator…
the number on the bottle divided by 8 equals how many ml you want to end up with.
743 / 8 = 92
If you don’t think you have anything to measure then look on any measuring cup you get. Most of them have American stuff on one side and ml on the other side. After you’ve boiled down your peroxide like I said you now have 24% H2O2
Now you need to get a bowl and throw about 8 large ice cubes in it. Pour in just enough water to get all the ice wet. Maybe to a depth of 3 inches.
Then you get a jar. Into this jar pour 60ml H2O2 and 40ml acetone. Stir this mixture a bit and then put the jar into your bowl full of water. Then you need to add about 30 ml of muriatic acid at about 10 ml a minute. The mixture needs to be stirred after every addition.
You let this mixture set in its little jar that’s in its little bowl full of ice and water for an hour. After the hour you should have a jar with a thick ass layer of white stuff. Get a empty coke bottle and cut off the top to make a funnel, into this funnel put a coffee filter. Pour your AP (the white stuff) into this filter. You then need to wash your AP by pouring about 2 liters of cold water through the white crystals.
Note: the following step is VERY important
You now need to put about 3 tablespoons of baking soda into a 2 liter bottle (the bottle should have been rinsed out) and you should fill the bottle about half way up. Stir or shake the contents of the bottle until the water becomes clear. You then wash your AP with the baking soda/ water solution. Pour it SLOWLY as your ap will likely fizz up as the baking soda neutralizes whatever acids are left in the AP. After you wash your crystals with the baking soda water solution you need to wash them again with another liter or so of water to wash away the baking soda that might be left.
You now have neutralized AP. Let it sit at room temperature somewhere and let the water evaporate off.
DO NOT forget the baking soda water step. Many of the injuries that come from AP are because stupid people fail to neutralize the acids in their AP which weakens the crystals. When the crystals are weakened they are much more unstable and more prone to accidental detonation. Too much heat is also another reason for accidental detonation so keep to what I said and keep the stuff in a room temperature area. Do not dry it with a hair dryer and do not put it under a lamp. Storage is not a good idea and if you must it should be stored under water in a jar. Do not use screw on caps because the AP will evaporate and re-crystallize in the threads of your screw on cap which could be bad for your hand when you try to unscrew the cap.
As for 30% peroxide I don't know where you can get it. 50% can be bought in gallon sized bottles at pool stores and hydroponics stores but 50% is extremely reactive and its not the best thing to use if you don't have any experience
