It is impossible to break someones message up into several quotes to address it in points. I'm not going to decode the quote structure of someones post. I think being able to address points individually helps discussion. Not being able to just perpetuates the huge quote cluster fuck. And inb4 "herp derp its not too hard" fuck that I'm not going to do it and nobody else will either. It is an extra element of confusion in how a post is going to look, if the formatting gets fucked up then everyone loses. Just saying its something I've noticed. Not to mention it is unnecessary, if I was confused about the context of the single quote I could always link back to the original post. And it facilitates shitposting.
