I love both Cap'n Jazz and Modern Baseball. You Blew It! has been in my backlog for ages, downloading their stuff now.

Have you heard of Marietta? Hands down my favorite midwest emo artist. They did a split with Modern Baseball (also from Philadelphia) both sides of which are awesome. They also have an LP and a few odds and ends.

Glad you dig CJ and MB. Did you listen to YBI! already? If you liked that, you should also look into Dowsing. They're pretty similar and both good.

I've never heard of Marietta, no. I'm gonna start looking into that one, thanks. In the meantime, you should listen to Texas Is The Reason. They released an album in 1997 and they even toured together this year after a decade long hiatus or so. Definitely in the top of my top fav. emo bands for sure.

Honestly, this is the last place I expected someone to like midwest emo haha.
